As a petroleum geophysicist I have worked for a number of oil companies on the Norwegian Shelf. Working with highly skilled professionals with a focus on problem solving has given me enormous respect for the industry, as well as an urge to change what is no longer fit for the future.

Tekna Climate is a specialized group within Tekna, the Norwegian Association of Graduate Engineers, focused on addressing climate change and environmental sustainability issues. We arrange events and initiatives to drive climate impact among the members.
Satellite communication - System Engineering
As a system engineer for Nera Satcom, a Norwegian company that specialized in satellite communications, I spent 5 years travelling the world, installing, testing and upgrading satellite-based communication equipment.
The big pivot
In 2016, I underwent a personal and professional transformation. I left the oil and gas, started my own company, and began a learning journey into social entrepreneurship, sustainability, and climate change issues. As an experiment I used AI to write an e-book about transitioning out of oil and gas.
Podcast host and producer
Since 2020, I've been the voice behind 'Stories for the Future' and 'Roaming Roots' podcasts. This journey has expanded my horizons, deepened my knowledge on topics I'm interested in, and connected me globally.
