About the role

We are seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing health-tech startup. The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver with a passion for building relationships and achieving structured goals on a monthly basis. The role involves one-to-one interactions with prospects, so candidates must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base by generating and nurturing leads, leading commercial plans, and building relationships with potential customers. Job description

You will be given the opportunity to play a critical role in the company. Your role will directly report into a CEO. Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify and create detailed business plans for commercial opportunities.
  • Understanding the needs of existing customers and nurturing relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Generating and nurturing new leads through various channels.
  • Building relationships with potential customers via phone, email, and Zoom.
  • Negotiating contracts and terms of business with clients.
  • Attending industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.

 

Specifications

  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Previous NHS or public sector experience is a huge plus
  • Experience in commercial delivery, leadership, management and the ability to think strategically
  • Experience in sales and client acquisition, CRM management
  • Track record of directly contributing to the growth or value of a business
  • Great willingness to learn and challenge yourself
  • Great interest in healthcare sector
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Remuneration and Logistics

The role is full-time with flexible working hours. The remuneration includes a £35-45k salary + uncapped and generous bonus . The location can be remote or hybrid with access to office space in Kings Cross, London.
