The Role
Investments
- Help structure and execute deals so that they are compliant, tax efficient and with minimal FX exposure.
- Liaise with fund admin to manage capital calls, wire transfers and distributions.
- Spin up and manage Special Purpose Vehicles for co-investments.
LP Onboarding/Management
- Work with our Partners to onboard investors into our funds.
- Manage all aspects of investor reporting in tandem with our Managing Partner.
- Keep all relevant documents in the data room up to date.
Portfolio Management
- Implement systems for tracking portfolio company KPIs, financial performance and projections.
- Build and maintain fund projections for follow-on financing so that we know when we expect our companies to be raising, and can plan accordingly.
- Responsible for all aspects of portfolio construction and modelling including: number of investments, cheque sizes, target returns, management fees, recycling etc.
- Track portfolio company valuations, in accordance with Supernode’s Valuation Policy.
Firm Legals & Compliance
- Work with our lawyers on all legal matters relating to fund formation.
- Lead on all aspects of regulation and compliance.
- Manage all aspects of reporting to tax authorities and other stakeholders.
Finance
- Manage the relationship with our service providers on all aspects of business including:
- Management Accounts Year End Accounts
- Tax Returns
- Payroll
- Yearly Audit
- Manage firm FX and tax exposure. Draw up budgets and forecasts.
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years’ experience working back office functions (finance, admin, ops, legal) across PE or VC.
- Proven experience of having built strong models, systems and processes.
- Experience working across geographies including Europe and the US.
- A deep understanding of the VC ecosystem, and an excitement about working with early stage startups – including the uncertainty and rapid changes that come with it.
- Be able to solve problems quickly, with little direction and in unconventional ways.
- Must be an analytical thinker, who is able to quickly sort through and organise portfolio company and fund data so that clear decisions can be made.
- Must show excellent communication and organisational skills as the COO will need to constantly communicate with and update many different stakeholders.

- Knowledge of crypto/Web3 is an advantage.
