About the company

We are Basra, an innovative new spin on the traditional e-commerce marketplace.

We aim to create a community that is focused on helping smaller creatives create brands and quality products, whilst also creating a sustainable creative vision. 

We aim to do this using novel technological innovations such as using ML compression through GANs to enable greater digital asset quality and create a more immersive and experiential experience (compared to the boring hedonistic experience that is found at many for the traditional large scale e-commerce providers).

The role

The role comprises of becoming part of the founding team.

You will be with us at the very beginning tackling challenging engineering problems whilst also creating tremendous consumer value.

This role would primarily be in an engineering capacity: you would be helping us implement technical solutions such as testing the yougabyte transactional database scalability and the geographical security features whilst also testing the node transfer protocols, testing and helping develop our image compression that is based on using a GAN system of image processing and also helping develop our image splicing software API.

Remuneration

Remuneration will be open to discussion with applicants. Currently we would be offering a vested equity schedule.
