I chaired the Global Banking Risk Oversight Committee (non-financial risk) at HSBC and have served on the Board of Directors for the University of Illinois Alumni Association and serve as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Days for Girls UK. Broad experience in compliance/policies/procedures.

I currently chair the Board of Trustees for Days for Girls UK, increasing access to menstrual products and vital health education for women and girls around the world. Governance lead and building global partnerships with both governments and NGOs.

Managing Director, Global Banking Chief Control Officer - HSBC
Responsible for all non-financial risks for Global Banking business. Chaired Global Risk Oversight Committee and led key regulatory, compliance and ESG programmes. Built incredibly high performing, diverse and collaborative global team (Europe/Asia/Middle East/US).
Head of EEMEA Debt Capital Markets - Morgan Stanley
I have raised over US$30bn in international financing for emerging market governments. Built leading client relationship with Turkey and executed Egypt's inaugural international bond. Advised on terms and met with investors across the US and Europe.
Global Head of Fund Distribution - DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield)
Revamped client engagement strategy for global real estate company, employing a "back to basics" client-centric approach, truly understanding investor parameters and tailoring products to suit. Led equity-capital raising mandates, increasing both coverage and sales.
Executive Consultant - Hakluyt
Analysed strategic issues for FTSE 100/Fortune 500 companies. Government regulation, market entry and competitive positioning. Work included exploring M&A in the tobacco industry in Sudan/South Sudan, retail competition in China and pricing in the European telecoms market.
Chair, Board of Trustees - Days for Girls UK
Lead Board of impactful not-for-profit providing mental health education and reusable menstrual products to young women and girls globally. Building funding partnerships and promoting locally led economic initiatives, most notably in Angola.
Beirut Exchange Conference
In June 2024 I traveled to Beirut with the Exchange Foundation for an immersive week directly engaging with academics, journalists, politicians and UN/US Embassy staff, exploring both the geo-political and economic uncertainties of this dynamic country.

Developed successful framework for highly regulated colleagues to WorkFromHome during pandemic. For clients, developed tight rules of engagement allowing clients to access critical Bank of England financing.
Training - Learning and Development
I have personally developed more than 1,500 colleagues through international conduct and compliance training (and developed conduct training package for c. 10,000 Banking employees). Created bespoke training & adapted global messages for local market adaptation.
