What I offer

Welcome to BroadBridge - a change and OD consultancy
I founded BroadBridge to help leaders and organisations get from where they are to where they want to be, by focusing on human connections. My vision is to champion 'connection' as the key to change in a world obsessed with efficiency, AI disruption, and the shifting meaning of work.

Supporting you go through change with a people-first mindset
Whether you're wanting to change the way things are done or even change the way you do things, I roll up my sleeves and get stuck in with you to make a change happen through a rapid and adaptive people first change programme. Clear & measurable definitions of success turn interventions into impact.

The first step is understanding what's really going on
What shows on the surface has hidden drivers. I work with organisations to unpack the complexities of human dynamics in order to co-create a shared sense of meaning making. The process of discovery is the beginning of the change, and I help facilitate 'unfolding' to make the most of every moment.

Helping leaders align behind change
People know when their leaders aren't on the same page. A critical step for any organisational change is for leaders to be aligned. This means having had the space for open and courageous conversations, so individually and collectively, they're on the bus. I help make that happen.

Supporting leaders to lead change
Leading through change isn’t easy. I work alongside individual leaders and leadership teams to be visible and inspiring when leading their people through change. With the right processes and support I help leaders be authentic with clear direction, so that people believe in them, and the change.

People own what they help create
I'm a big believer in designing change programmes that enable people to work together to make improvements. Top down change is fine for a crisis, but when you want people to feel a sense of ownership, you need to involve them in powerful and creative experiences that 'bring the future into today'.
Experiences

The world's largest mass participation event
As Brand & CSR Director, I led the 2nd and 3rd year of the inaugural sponsorship of Prudential Ride London. Due to it's success in brand metrics and significant stakeholder endorsement (internally and externally), we secured a second sponsorship term. Laura Kenny (nee Trott) was a brand ambassador.

Pushing the boundaries with brand sponsorship
As Brand & CSR Director, I wanted to disrupt the traditional expectations of an insurance company with a 170 year old heritage. I identified an opportunity to support the brand repositioning with the title sponsorship of Prudential BluesFest. The weekend festival shifted the key brand metrics.

Rapid leadership collaboration across a health system
As People & Change Director, I led a cross system improvement process in the NHS to bring the leaders of different organisations together to align behind a transformation programme. Within 3 months, through a range of co-creation interventions, the system achieved a vision and plan they believed in.

Aligning leaders for transformation
I worked with the group exec team of a UK social housing organisation to align behind a multimillion-pound transformation. Polite but conflict-averse, they struggled with trust and openness. In 8 weeks, I built the psychological safety to align the team behind the transformation programme.

A passion for producing and hosting podcasts
I kicked off the first episode of Newton talks - the podcast for curious minds - by interviewing Matthew Syed, the author of six-best selling books on high performance. I came back to host season 4 and love the format. I'm in production for a new podcast on crossing the edge of change.

Going deep with group dynamics
I’m curious—no, hungry—to explore the hidden, unconscious dynamics of groups. From how we formed tribes to how we work in organisations today, it fascinates me. In 2024, I spent 14 days at the Tavistock Leicester Conference, and the ripples of that experience are still being felt!

Supporting a scale-up develop a culture for growth
I currently support the CEO and Exec to shift from a family-style start-up culture to one ready for high performance and growth. Starting with assessing the existing culture, we're co-creating the steps - and developing the extended leadership team - to shift their culture with their aspirations.

The photo inspired by the universe
My name, Bradford, means "wide crossing over a river." Once I connected my name, the fact I’d been taking photos of bridges (this one included) and that I’ve spent my life helping others cross to the other side of change, naming my consulting business BroadBridge was a nudge from the universe.

Guinness - it's good for you.
I'm a big fan of Guinness, so much so that I have a scorecard to assess each Guinness I experience. So, if you ever fancy a chat about changing to world over a pint of the black stuff, give me a shout...I'll be there. (...beard now excluded!)
