A Head of HR, with a new boss, in a business that had made a number of acquisitions. She was ambitious for the “difference” she wanted to make & wanted to be promoted to Director. By the end of our coaching programme, she had been prompted and was leading strategic projects

Ambitious co-founders starting an AI business with secured funding. Within their partnership, they had a pattern of regular “blowups”, and they sensed this represented “an argument they were having but avoiding talking about”. They wanted to shift the habits that were “niggling” each other.

Breakdown in a key relationship on a charity board, based on a conversation that left them both uncomfortable. Discomfort had been building for a while and had resulted in a stalemate. Having sought legal advice, we provided informal conflict coaching.

To achieve its growth ambitions, the Paragon board needed to empower the leadership to “step up” & take on broader responsibilities. I developed a programme that enabled leaders to work outside their expertise on ambitious, broad activities, enhancing their ability to resolve problems.

With BHD scores increasing each year, Leadership were lost about what to do next. We did a discovery process to understand (at all layers) what it was like to work there. We educated the leadership around leading culture change & working with culture advocates to make positive change.

Typically in cultural organisations, managers pick up their management skills on the job. The Place wanted to shift their culture towards “adult-to-adult”. We built a management programme that enabled learning, giving feedback, inviting responsibility & asking questions to get others thinking.

I lead the People work for large scale transformation programmes: Commercial business which included the following results: (1) taken costs down by a third (2) generated an additional uplift in revenue (3) enabled 85% of staff to clearly understand and role-model the behavioural change required.

Yogi

My dirty little secret is that I am a Yogi. I started when I was making a transition from a “proper” job to starting my own practice, I just knew I needed to find a way to get out of my head and I can be found on my mat most days! I go on a retreat each year and am qualified to teach Yin!
