I am an entrepreneurially-minded executive and former management consultant (ex BCG). I've led strategy and operations for successful growth and turnaround initiatives at The Economist Group and Daily Mail & General Trust in New York and London. During the pandemic, I founded and grew a video streaming and ecommerce platform for indie musicians to monetise online events. I love music (all types), hosting dinner parties, and being by the sea.

Trained at The Boston Consulting Group, I now act as an independent consultant in all sectors, with a focus on media & entertainment (news, music, research, events). I am experienced in commercial strategy, new products, organisational design and change, sales strategy, operating model improvement.
Business turnaround and new growth: strategy and execution
I led the turnaround of Elite Daily, a US news & entertainment site. This involved overhauling processes & teams: editorial (written, video), digital ad sales, product, SEO, social. Later, I restored growth to The Economist's top ad category (luxury) & grew new profitable businesses from B2B events.
Early stage startups: product/MVP hacking, business model development
In 2020-22, I founded and grew a tech platform for indie musicians to monetise online concerts and connect with fans all over the world. In the process, I learnt a lot about video streaming and ecommerce (tickets, merch), hacking codeless MVPs, launching new products & evolving business models.
Digital strategy for classical music organisations
I have 10+ years of experience as a board trustee of leading UK arts organisations: Aurora Orchestra and City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO). I also advise a number of classical music and opera organisations on new audience development, online communities and audiences, and digital revenue.
