Experiences

Energy Industry Experience (Acergy, Subsea7, Seaway7)
Over 18 years in the energy industry with Oil and Gas and Offshore Wind construction projects and tenders. I've held a variety of roles within Learning & Development, Engineering Resource Planning, Technical Auditing, Cost Estimating & Tendering and Project Interface Management.

Learning & Development
Experiences include: development and delivery of Graduate Engineering , Engineering Management, Leadership and High Potential programmes. Bespoke technical training, competency frameworks, event planning & delivery and workshop facilitation. - including collaboration with Cranfield University.

Cost Estimating
Extensive work for Subsea7 and Seaway7's global tendering teams leading compilation of complex, multi-million dollar costing for offshore energy construction projects. Using strong detail focus, problem solving & stakeholder management. Successes include BP Mad Dog II, Scottish Power EA3.

Project Interface Management
Working with Seaway7 connecting multiple work packages on the EA3 Project for Scottish Power, collaborating to identify and escalate engineering design issues, facilitating workshops to resolve them, managing stakeholders internally & externally through meetings and online collaboration.

Green Finger Novice
Following in my late brother's footsteps I got accidentally pulled into the world of growing things, ideally edible, with mixed success, but a lot of enjoyment! Battling slugs and squirrels along the way and getting plenty of outdoor time, it's a great way to unwind.
