Associate Consultant: Life Science Competitive Strategy
Assisted on competitive intelligence projects for top-10 pharma clients surrounding the use of wearables, AI and health-data integration for early diagnosis, remote patient monitoring and personalised healthcare.
ECHOLYSE: Orally-Administered Cancer Biosensor and Therapeutic
Designed a genetically engineered cancer biosensor & therapeutic using E.Coli, and individually validated treatment efficacy with computational models. This project received the Imperial Academics’ award after the data acquired was presented to a panel of world leading experts in synthetic biology.
Software Development: Automating Data Collection from Bacterial Images
Developed a prototype desktop application using Matlab to automate bacterial analysis from growth plate images. This eliminated hours of manual work for researchers, and provided them with previously unobtainable data to support their scientific hypotheses.
Project Manager: Development of a Versatile Biosensing Platform
Managed a team of engineers, life scientists and medics in successfully building a POC for a handheld biosensing device, capable of detecting clinically relevant biomarkers in real-time from a single sample of saliva.
Built and iterated on an MVP for a SaaS-based web platform supporting teachers with a lack of programming experience in teaching the new UK Computing curriculum. The product was successfully adopted by 3 independent schools during the early stages of development and validation.
Digital Health: A Smartphone App for Early Detection of Skin Cancer
Created an MVP leveraging machine learning to identify potential melanomas from smartphone images of a patient's skin, whilst receiving coaching on business model development, IP, financing, marketing and pitching for investment in the life sciences.
