Fractional CFO at EverList
EverList is a social network built around film. The Founder was a previous client of mine and asked me to join as CFO soon after founding. I raised angel capital from two investors who are now advisors to the business. I also created the app's matching, recommendation and movie night algorithms.
Fractional CFO at Plausible Gaming
Plausible Gaming is a social network built around gaming. My role covers fundraising, employee incentives, advisor incentives, monetization strategy, and general strategy.
Fractional CFO at HomeFunds (now closed)
HomeFunds provided home equity finance, an alternative to traditional mortgages. I was responsible for the financial strategy incl pricing and financial modelling; pitching to potential LPs and credit funders, fund structure and returns modelling. $250M in term sheets in 6 months. Since closed.
Advisor to TMT Analysis
TMT Analysis is a cybersecurity company. I advised the CFO and CEO on M&A strategy and assisted with financial modelling. This was a once-off project.
Advisor to HearX / Lexie Hearing
HearX Group is a med tech company that provides accessible hearing devices and apps, including the Lexie brand of hearing aid - currently the market leader in the US. I have advised the team on fundraising, pricing and strategy on an occasional basis since the company was pre-seed. Now Series C.
Advisor and Interim CFO to Zenzele Group
Zenzele Group provides health products and services including gyms, home gyms, online gym, supplements, gymwear, and relates services to corporates and public in South Africa. Since 2017, I have advised the CEO on fundraising, forecasting, budgeting, financial strategy, and overall strategy.
