Arts University Bournemouth is a specialist Higher Education Institution for art, architecture, design, media and performance. I am the Vice Chair of the board, Chair of the Project Control Group for strategic projects and a member of Finance & Resource committee.
I mentor girls and young women in my spare time - providing a relatable and real-life role model and supporting and empowering them to reach thier full potential.
London 2012 Games, Athletes Village - Project Management
The Athletes' Village was a £1bn project that delivered 2,818 homes in 63 buildings spread over 11 residential plots. After the Games, the village was transformed into a residential neighbourhood, with homes for 6000 people, community facilities, new parks & open spaces.
Terminal 5 is the fifth terminal at Heathrow designed to handle over 70 million passengers. Over the course of the project, 7,500 construction workers were employed on site, from over 60 contractors, working on 16 individual major projects and 147 sub-projects on a 260-hectare (642-acre) site.
A £2.3 billion regeneration project in Elephant & Castle creating over 3000 of high-quality new homes and green space. Over 6000 jobs will be created during and post-construction.
I am building my own family home from scratch in Buckinghamshire. The project uses several practices, such as Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), Solar, efficient building fabric, renewable energy sources & materials to reduce embodied & operational carbon & make the building more sustainable.
