Experiences
PIDG Merger - 2024/2025
Led a Target Operating Model transformation programme to merge the group companies into a single organisation. Already achieved 10% bottom line savings. This involved designing a target org structure, integrating systems and delivering data centralisation/reporting for business performance.
Led soldiers on operations in Sierra Leone, Kosovo and Afghanistan
Led teams of up to 140 people, including British Army units deployed in various high threat environments. They all came home safely.
Operational efficiency
Held P&Ls of up to £300M and delivered bottom line savings of up to £300M. Numerous leadership roles driving significant efficiencies and cost control best practice to maximise value and business outcomes. Delivered 10% (and counting) bottom line savings on PIDG merger
Clyde & Co COVID BCP Response
Chief of Staff to the Global CIO for the firm’s response to COVID-19. Led rapid expansion of global remote working capacity across multiple technologies, moving the firm in six weeks from being able to support less than a 1000 remote workers (20% of the firm) to 4000 remote workers (90% of the firm)
Clyde & Co Casualty Innovation Programme
Led the first tranche of the Casualty Innovation programme, focused on improving service to key insurance clients. This involved building and implementing tools which leveraged automation technology and data insights to reduce processing time, by over 40%, in a high volume, low margin legal team
Established Carpmaels & Ransford's inaugural PMO
Established the firm’s first PMO. Led the firm's growth and modernisation agenda with a focus on operations efficiency, regulatory compliance, streamlined processes and leveraging technology for greater efficiency. Enabled the firm to scale from 160 to 250 people in 5 years.
