My mission is to transform education by transforming how we teach educators. My career has included consulting the improvement of teacher training programs for a top UK university, facilitating cross-cultural exchange through teaching English in Japan, and serving as the Head of Training for Japan's largest online English Camps to date. I'm excited about where EdTech and online learning are going!
What I offer
Creating Korea's Largest International English Camp
Come On Out - Japan brings top university students abroad to teach English to ambitious high school students, and this year we led Japan's largest online English Camp with over 3000 participants. We get ~1600 teaching applications/year; we want to create more opportunities for them in Korea next!
Professional success hinges on communicating with clarity, confidence, and connection. Mediocre speaking skills hold you back. I've helped entrepreneurs to secure £5k in seed funding, helped educators to make lectures fun and engaging, and helped keynote speakers become memorable and impactful.
Designing and delivering trainings that go beyond expectations
From managing LMS for a global program for international schools, to transforming university modules from stale lectures to engaging, online learning, to designing live training for 152 new English teachers, my mission is to share what I know to shape learning experiences that go above and beyond.
Handling the copy-editing, course content upload and user database management of four distinct online programmes, I facilitated the learning of 332 globally distributed 12- to 16-years-old International Baccalaureate MYP students via the 360 Learning platform in partnership with key stakeholders.
Reaching over 40k students via a weekly newsletter, I regularly reported on goings-on around London’s global university. I love to “shine the light on brilliance,” and I worked closely with UCL Library Services to bring libraries to life through interviews with key figures and sensory storytelling.
As the "Relationships Correspondent", I leveraged my life coaching background to author monthly, reader-focused editorials aimed at promoting mental wellbeing, resolving relational issues and growing self-awareness for a diverse, London-based audience for a lifestyle brand.
I worked closely with a globally distributed team of Learning Designers to redesign 1,200 university modules for online teaching based on HyFlex principles of evidence-based, student-centred, and interactive digital learning design. I refined practices to reduce the time spent stuck in QA by 85%.
