Seven years ago I started my own business with two friends, a brewery in Brixton called Friendship Adventure. Through our taproom and events our goal was to promote socialising as a force for good health and wellbeing. We created a space which was a hub for local organisations; amongst others, we worked with an educational charity for women and girls, The Baytree Centre, and supported isolated or lonely older people in Southwark through LinkAge.
