1. Introduction

Welcome to The Portfolio Collective’s Portfolio Career Festival. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase of tickets for the event taking place in November 2025 (“Event”). By purchasing a ticket, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Ticket purchase

  • Eligibility: Tickets are available for individuals who are 18 years or older. By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
  • Payment: All ticket purchases must be made through the official Event website or authorised ticketing partners. Payments are processed securely through our payment gateway.
  • Confirmation: Once your payment is successfully processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket(s) and a receipt. Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not receive the email.
  • Pricing: Ticket prices are as stated on the Event website. Prices are subject to change without notice. All prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

3. Refunds and cancellations

  • Refund Policy: All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued except in extreme circumstances (at management’s discretion), as provided under these Terms or as required by applicable law.
  • Event Cancellation: In the event of cancellation by The Portfolio Collective, you will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price. The Portfolio Collective will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by ticket holders, such as travel or accommodation expenses.
  • Event Rescheduling: If the Event is rescheduled, your ticket will be valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled Event, you may request a refund within the timeframe specified in the rescheduling notice.

4. Ticket transfers

  • Transfer Policy: Tickets may be transferred to another individual by contacting the Event’s customer service ([email protected]) at least 48 hours before the Event. The new ticket holder must meet the eligibility requirements set out in these Terms.
  • Unauthorised Transfers: Any unauthorised resale or transfer of tickets is strictly prohibited and may result in the cancellation of the ticket without a refund.

5. Entry to the event

  • Ticket Presentation: You must present a valid ticket to gain entry to the Event. Digital or printed tickets are acceptable.
  • Identification: You may be required to present a valid photo ID matching the name on your ticket for entry.
  • Prohibited Items: For the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, certain items are prohibited at the Event. These prohibited items include weapons, explosives, flammable items, hazardous materials, illegal substances, noise-making devices, recording devices, large containers, outside alcohol, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, pets and animals (except service animals), drones and laser pointers.

6. Conduct at the event

  • Behaviour: Attendees are expected to abide by The Portfolio Collective’s community code of conduct and behave in a respectful and lawful manner. The Portfolio Collective reserves the right to remove any individual from the Event for inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to harassment, intoxication or disruption of the Event.
  • Liability: Attendees participate in the Event at their own risk. The Portfolio Collective is not liable for any loss, injury or damage sustained at the Event, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

7. Privacy and data protection

  • Personal Information: By purchasing a ticket, you consent to the collection, use and processing of your personal information in accordance with The Portfolio Collective’s Privacy Policy. This includes sharing your personal data with event sponsors and vendors for post-event communication.
  • Photography and Filming: The Event may be recorded or photographed for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to being filmed or photographed and waive any claims regarding the use of your image or likeness.

8. Intellectual property

  • Trademarks and Logos: All trademarks, logos and service marks displayed at the Event are the property of their respective owners.
  • Content: All content provided at the Event is for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed or transmitted in any form without prior written permission from The Portfolio Collective.

9. Changes to the terms

The Portfolio Collective reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Event website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates.

10. Governing law

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where The Portfolio Collective is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Terms & conditions for member booth ticket

These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the purchase and use of a Member Booth Ticket at The Portfolio Collective (TPC) 2025 Portfolio Career Festival. By purchasing a booth, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs.

1. Booth package & inclusions

The booth package for the 2025 Portfolio Career Festival includes:

On the day

  • A dedicated space in the Main Stage area.
  • A trestle table with tablecloth.
  • Freedom to decorate your space within guidelines (see Section 4).
  • A VIP ticket (including VIP breakfast and TPC merchandise).

Beyond the booth

  • Three free months of TPC Pioneer membership.
  • Space to promote your services at a Community Networking call.
  • Two features in TPC’s monthly newsletter.
  • A spotlight in a post-event email and article.
  • Potential for ongoing partnerships with TPC.

2. Eligibility

Booth purchases are open to community members and any individual portfolio professional who wants to attend the festival. If you are an organisation or are interested in purchasing a sponsored booth, please contact the team as there is a different pricing structure for businesses. TPC reserves the right to decline a booth purchase at its sole discretion.

3. Payment & fees

The full fee must be paid at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing by TPC. All fees are non-refundable, except in the event that the festival is canceled by TPC (see Cancellations & refunds).

4. Booth setup & guidelines

  • Booth holders are responsible for their own signage and marketing materials.
  • Decorations must remain within the designated space.
  • Booths must be packed down and vacated by 6:00 pm, after which booth holders may join the post-event networking drinks in the bar.
  • Open flames, amplified music or disruptive/safety-risk elements are prohibited.
  • TPC may request removal of inappropriate or unsafe materials.

5. Post-Festival promotion

Promotional benefits will be scheduled by TPC following the event. TPC will coordinate with booth holders to confirm dates and content.

6. Venue & equipment regulations

Booth holders must comply with all Battersea Arts Centre (BAC) rules and provide required documentation, including public liability insurance and PAT certificates for electrical equipment.

Restrictions:

  • No on-site vehicle parking (except two TPC vehicles).
  • Hot food cannot be sold or served.

Failure to comply may result in denied access to the festival.

7. Cancellations & refunds

  • Booth ticket cancellation: Booth purchases are non-refundable.
  • TPC cancellation: If TPC cancels the festival, booth holders will receive a full refund.

8. Changes to the Festival & T&Cs

TPC reserves the right to amend the festival schedule, layout or content, and may revise these T&Cs at any time. All changes are effective immediately upon posting.
