In parallel with growing the Ventures and Build parts of GALLOS, we are also building a GALLOS Services business. GALLOS Services aspires to become a trusted advisor – providing clients with unique perspectives on the security technology landscape and supporting a global network of security and risk leaders via a by-invitation Membership (‘GALLOS Alliance’) and leadership development program (“GALLOS Leaders”).
To create high-quality thought leadership content for GALLOS Alliance members, we are recruiting an experienced Freelance Content Writer. This will be on a by article-based engagement to start, with the potential for a successful relationship to develop and evolve with time.
Role:
Freelance Content Writer – Thought Leadership & Content Creation for Security Technology Venture Fund
As Freelance Content Writer at GALLOS Technologies, you will work closely with the Platform and Membership Lead to create engaging content for GALLOS Alliance members. This primarily involves article creation through interviewing our pool of experts and advisors, creating content from transcripts, and supporting various other
writing tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity, leadership, startups, and technology innovation, and the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging, accessible content for C-Suite leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Thought Leadership Articles (70%): Conduct interviews with industry experts and gather insights to craft high-quality thought leadership pieces that resonate with our audience.
2. Content Creation: Develop compelling content from transcripts of interviews, webinars, and internal meetings, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
3. Podcast Content: Write engaging episode descriptions and intros for our monthly podcast episodes, tailored to our audience of senior security and risk professionals.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with our team to ensure consistency in tone and messaging across all content, referencing the GALLOS Style Guide.
Required experience and skills
● Proven experience in writing for C-Suite and professional audiences, ideally
within the cybersecurity, technology, or venture capital sectors.
● Ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging content for a
C-suite and senior professional audience.
● Strong interviewing skills and the ability to distil insights from expert
conversations into thought-provoking articles.
● Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
● Familiarity with cybersecurity, risk management, and technology innovation
trends.
● Experience with podcast content creation and newsletter writing is a plus.
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work on
time.
Remuneration
● Rates to be agreed on a per article basis.
Location
● Remote, working UK hours.
● Attendance in the London office optional.
● Attendance at GALLOS events and other marketing activities optional.
