The Role – Team Coordinator

We are looking for a Team Coordinator to support the wider TPC team, providing assistance in all aspects of operations, finance, HR, marketing and project management.

The successful candidate for this role will report into the COO, whilst also collaborating with other departments within the company where needed. 

This role provides an exciting opportunity for a talented and organised cross-functional professional to contribute in a fast-paced start-up environment, backed by the knowledge and support of a highly experienced leadership team. 

 

Who are we?

The Portfolio Collective (TPC) was set up by Ben Legg (former COO of Google Europe) in July 2020 with our COO Fiona Chorlton-Voong. It is forecast that half of all professionals globally will be portfolio professionals by 2030, so they launched TPC with the mission of helping professionals understand, launch, manage and grow successful portfolio careers.

We are now a team of 12 (+ 30 fractional community members) who are passionate about building the world’s leading community for portfolio professionals. In our first four years, we’ve scaled rapidly, with key achievements including:

  • Attracted over 400,000 unique visitors to our website
  • Conducted 400+ events 
  • Built a professional networking platform with over 13,000 diverse, high-calibre members
  • A Trustpilot score of 4.9/5
  • Sustained growth of the community and revenue

Key responsibilities

Operations Support

Support with team coordination, invoice & expense tracking, legal contracting & programme administration.

Community Support

Manage the TPC community by speaking to members, responding to questions and supporting the organisation and delivery of events and email workflows.

Communication Support

Respond to company emails and messages to ensure high quality and timely answers to queries. 

Platform & Process Automation

Comfortable learning no-code software like Zapier, Airtable & Notion to create automated workflow solutions to repetitive tasks.

Data Management

Collect and interpret data to help inform company decisions and track core KPIs. 

Team Support

Organise team building and social events.

The ideal candidate

You have 4+ years of relevant experience, are used to working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping professionals launch and sustain successful portfolio careers.

The ideal candidate will also have the following personality traits:

  • High EQ – a strong communicator able to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Be a TPC ambassador – you’re articulate and well-presented
  • Multi-tasker – you’re able to juggle multiple priorities without compromising on quality
  • Highly organised – you bring order by designing and implementing systems & processes
  • Driven to improve – you are comfortable with using the basics of automation & AI to improve business processes

What can we offer you?

The role will be full-time, with flexible working hours and remote-first working. Most days will be remote working, but you’ll need to live within 2 hours of London to be able to travel to help support the in-person community events that take place on average once per month.

Compensation will include a salary of £28k-£33k per annum depending on experience, as well as stock options.
