The role

We are seeking a hands-on Sales Director to help us take the business to the next level. This results-oriented leader will be responsible for driving sales and building strong client relationships while also laying the groundwork for future team growth. As a doer who is passionate about delivering results, you will be instrumental in accelerating our growth and scaling our sales operations.

We are open to individuals interested in both a part and full time commitment

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a similar B2B environment.
  • Be comfortable taking a consultative solution-led sales approach as well as a product-led sales approach
  • Be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for closing deals.
  • Be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the wellbeing market and its current trends.
  • Have a hands-on approach to sales and be comfortable making calls and driving revenue.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a data-driven sales approach to achieve ambitious revenue goals.
  • Personally drive sales and close deals to contribute directly to our growth.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with prospects and identify new business opportunities.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals.
  • Analyse sales data and reports to identify trends and make informed decisions.
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop sales representatives to prepare for future team growth.
 

Must haves

  • 3+ years of experience in sales.
  • Proven ability to close deals and exceed sales targets using a consultative solution-led sales approach.
  • Hands-on approach to sales, with experience making calls and driving revenue.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Data-driven approach to sales, with experience in utilising CRM and sales reporting tools.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in sales leadership at a Director-level position.
  • Experience selling in the wellbeing industry.
  • Passion for Betterspace's mission and values.
  • A track record of building and scaling sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies.

Remuneration

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary (commensurate with experience), performance-based bonus, and equity options.
  • Base Salary - Between £50,000 and £80,000 depending upon experience
  • Sales Bonus - Uncapped performance linked
  • Equity options and raise related bonus
