Experience required
Essential
- Experience in IT projects and service environments from a large corporate or service provider to the corporate sector.
- Experience in highly compliant environments – finance or healthcare experience is very desirable however other sectors such as Telecoms can also be advantageous.
- Knowledge of data security, infrastructure security, routines, possible security breaches, key compliance, and penetration testing requirements.
- Experience and ability to describe project process and how to mitigate for common delivery issues.
- Programming and UX knowledge – understanding what those functions are and tools that are used for different delivery components.
- Server-side deploys SLAs, performance criteria, fault tolerance and the difference between high availability and fault tolerance.
- Good documentation skills – familiarity with standard toolsets, Slack, Jira, Confluence, Github, MS Office, and other similar tools.
- Knowledge of agile documentation approaches and standards – user stories, epics etc
- Ability to negotiate, lead expectations, and communicate effectively.
- Ability to write schedules, create and manage budgets and deliver timelines, and communicate those to Executive stakeholders in the form of reporting.
- Experience of handling customers without knowledge of technology and managing their expectations.
- It is also desirable that they have experience coaching teams with agile techniques.
- They should be familiar with testing environments and management of those environments and release cycles and automated testing standards requirements and deploys.
- Ability to manage pressurised situations and negotiate hard deadlines.
- Positive problem-solving attitude.
Desirable
- CS Degree or related technical subject – desirable but not required.
- Project Management certifications – Agile, Scrum, LeSS, SAFe, PMP, Prince2Agile, Prince2.
- Certifications within Cloud or Development from major cloud vendors are also helpful background knowledge and experience and are highly desirable.
Location
Either UK based (hybrid model, Thursday is a team day in the office)
