The role

The Head of Marketing reports directly to the CEO and will be responsible for a small but growing team, currently consisting of a Social Media Manager. You’ll also work closely with an external agency while building your team.

This role sits within the operational management team (OMT), responsible for our brand marketing across Europe.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Use clever thinking to create, implement and own the marketing strategy from scratch and take it through to completion
  • Identify the right mix of channels, activities and programmes to create a highly commercial marketing machine
  • Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing team
  • Build brand awareness and drive traffic to create leads for the sales team
  • Own agency relationship with the intention of bringing all activity inhouse
  • Share knowledge and recommend best practice in your area of operation
  • Keep up with the latest trends and VR techniques, deciding when and how to incorporate
  • This role encompasses all aspects of marketing, including brand, copy, design and digital

 

Must haves

  • 5 years experience in brand and marketing
  • Demonstrable experience of owning marketing from concept through to implementation
  • Demonstrable experience of going against the grain, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach
  • Excellent communication skills to explain, demonstrate and set a clear plan to action
  • Ability to craft demand, inbound and account-based marketing strategies
  • Ability to collaborate with sales, product and cross functional teams
  • Cross channel marketing and branding expertise in a B2B environment
  • A commercial and results orientated mindset
  • Hands on, dynamic, bold, relentless and high energy
  • Initiative – heaps of it

 

Nice to have:

  • Leadership experience and ideally experience of building a high performing team.
  • Experience in a relevant sector e.g. corporate events, education, training

Remuneration

  • Competitive annual salary of £50-70k depending on experience 💸
