The Role – Head of Marketing

As a Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for building Judge.me’s marketing strategy and establishing Judge.me’s brand presence. You will be in a unique position to build up the marketing vision, strategy, and key initiatives almost from scratch, charting the way that Marketing should operate and work across business units. You will align and showcase the value proposition of Judge.me to new and existing B2B and B2C customers. You will also be responsible for driving the company’s growth by increasing its customer base, optimising marketing efforts, and identifying new business opportunities.

You will be part of the senior leadership team, reporting to the COO and will be expected to drive the impact and direction of marketing in the business. The role will begin with a heavy hands-on focus on product marketing, supported by an associate, and you will be able to build out your team as the business grows.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Go-to-market strategies: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies across multiple product lines.
  • Define segmentation and targeting: Develop a deep understanding of the market/customers, define segmentation and targeting to maximise our impact and growth.
  • Growth strategies: Develop, implement, and evaluate growth strategies across acquisition, upgrades and retention to maximise revenue.
  • Marketing ROI: Review and report on all marketing activities, results, and ROI.
  • Educate customers: Educate customers and prospects on the benefits of new products and features.
  • Project Management: Establish, prioritise and manage project deliverables, timelines and budget.
  • Partnership Management: Manage existing partnerships and optimise GTM opportunities.
  • Produce sales materials: Produce sales enablement materials for co-marketing with our key partners including the development of case studies, product guides and demos.
  • Positioning: Work closely with product teams to develop our positioning.
  • Provide market insights: Influence our product roadmap, distilling key insights from the market and our customers into actionable feedback.
  • Marketing metrics: Establish & report on marketing funnel metrics.

 

Experience & Profile

You’re a Marketing leader with 6-8 years experience within the fast growth tech domain, lately as Head of Marketing or number 2 to Head of Marketing, with evidence of providing growth for an early stage start/scale-up B2B SaaS business. 

You are comfortable working both on a strategic level, as well as rolling your sleeves up and delivering hands-on, and you have a growth mindset. 

Your experience and profile will include the following:

  • Developing strategy at all stages of the funnel and experience of a variety of marketing channels including partnerships, social media, CRM, SEO, content, CRM
  • Experimental approach. Experience of data-driven growth marketing techniques, such as developing a testing roadmap, A/B or multivariate testing, cohort analysis etc 
  • Team management including setting objectives/priorities, recruitment, development and managing performance – you are comfortable leading a team but also delivering marketing initiatives individually 
  • Great at collaboration with sales teams, product teams and other stakeholders across the business in setting the direction and providing education on the value of marketing
  • Numerate with a strong commercial orientation including understanding of key SaaS metrics, forecasting sales, budgeting and managing marketing spend 
  • Excellent copywriting skills, able to craft engaging messaging from technical information

The ideal candidate will also display the following attributes and experience:

  • Ecommerce background
  • A mix of product led growth (PLG) and sales led growth (SLG) experience

 

Remuneration

  • £80-100k base salary (depending on experience)
