Freelancing gives you space to breathe but also leaves you on your own. Some solos love calling the shots, but they still wrestle daily with tough calls, shifting ground, and loads piling up, with no backup crew around. When I moved out of leading R&D tax work into guiding freelancers one-on-one, I knew right away: this gap needed filling. So here I am, part of the circle, passing along tools most independents never get handed.
My name’s Dr Stuart A. Bentley. For over two decades I worked in universities, industry labs, and public sector roles. Back then, studies I led at Birmingham Uni helped improve how jet engine parts were built, showing me firsthand how practical science boosts both business and everyday life.
From that point on, I’ve taken on jobs where breaking down tough concepts was key, be it in research, government strategy, or tech settings.
On top of that, I finished the Connected NED and Board Advisory courses, boosting how well I can help groups and peop…

Hello everyone! I’m currently on a lookout for speaking opportunities – some might say it’s their idea of hell, and I actually enjoy it!

Topics I feel passionate about and love to share with others are on how to:
– Create customer experience that supports growth
– Work effectively to drive customer change
– Keep your service human in the world of AI
– And lead teams with clarity, direction and calm confidence
Not a massive fan of big events but if anyone needs an experienced CX voice on a panel/roundtable/smaller event, particularly in the startup/scaleup space – let’s chat!

Hi all, I’m digitising equity to help founders manage and automate their cap tables (streamlining the painful parts around vesting, updates, and reporting) and would love to chat with anyone who’s dealt with equity admin headaches, especially managing contibutions for equity in the early days. I want to make sure we’re solving real problems, so if you’ve got 30 minutes to share your equity admin stories, as a founder, investor or employee/contractor, I’d love to chat and share what we’re learning and working on. Cheers!

Many of us in this community sit at the intersection of leadership, culture, and change. We see the same patterns: brilliant teams stretched thin, clarity diluted by noise, performance pulled off-course.
I’ve published a white paper that brings these threads together: The Future of Culture is Human. It’s a concise, human-centred look at what organisations are facing – and the evolutions leaders are prioritising for 2026.
If you’re shaping culture, advising leaders, or navigating complexity in your portfolio roles, I hope it gives you something genuinely useful.

Dear TPC Community,
I’m in the process of writing my book http://www.bingbongbook.com and I’m looking for someone with experience in book editing and publishing to support me.
At this stage, I have a collection of documents, images, and interviews (both video and text) that need to be organised and refined into a format suitable for book printing.
If you have the skills to help shape this into a publishable manuscript, I’d love to hear from you. While I’ve explored platforms like Reedsy, I wanted to first reach out to the TPC community to see if there’s someone here who’d be a great fit.
This is a paid opportunity.
Thank you so much for considering,
Charles

Looking back at the one year mark.
I’ve been in my current role (Heritage Officer for the Town Hall Project) and in a new town (Lowestoft, Suffolk) for around a year now.
September the 13th, saw the Lowestoft Heritage Skills Market. I played a part in organising this.
This was a chance for me to take ownership of my role. And as one of the aspects of my job, to celebrate and bring to life history and heritage.
The past year has had plenty of ups and downs.
In the down points, I tried to stay focused on reaching the Heritage Skills Market.
I found some incredible people to showcase at the market, including a blacksmith and a letter carver. (Daniel Johnson Forgeworks and Gary Breeze Lettering Artist.)
It was rewarding how the Heritage Market brought the area round the currently closed for renovation Town Hall to life.
In making connections with creative and talented individuals, I am motivated to keep working.
With my role, I am working within a …
