Hey lovely people
Just wanted to share something I’m running that might hit home for a few of you.
I’ve had a lot of conversations recently with fractional consultants, portfolio professionals, and solopreneurs who all say the same thing:
“I’ve had some great clients… but if I’m honest, it’s mostly been referrals. And I’ve no idea where the next one is coming from.”
→ Been there.
→ Lived the anxiety.
→ Drank the extra coffee.
So I’ve put together a free live workshop for Tuesday 6th May (6:30pm UK time) where I’ll walk through the system I built to stop that feast & famine cycle — and start building a more predictable pipeline.
No pitch.
No fluff.
Just the real strategy that helped me take control of my business.
If you’re trying to move from “project hunter” to “pipeline builder”, it might be up your street.
Here’s the link to join:

Hello from the Finance Doctor
Are you operating via LTD company or a sole trader? Do you know what you need to do to comply?
Can’t believe it’s been almost 10 years since I left the world of full-time employment and set up my own company.
Most of that time I’ve been doing full-time delivery work, with the occasional side gig to keep things fun. It’s been a mix of freedom, growth, the odd challenge—and a lot of learning.
It wasn’t just about doing the work and getting paid though. I had to figure out the whole behind-the-scenes stuff too—Companies House, HMRC, keeping the books tidy… all that jazz.
Even as a qualified accountant, it took me a while to separate “Alina the Director” from “Alina the Brand”. And don’t get me started on my first accountant… let’s just say I ended up with a hefty tax bill after year one. Ouch. Learned that one the hard way.
If you’re thinking of going out on your own—Ltd or sole trader—and want a chat abo…

Hi everyone
We’re currently inviting new experts to join us for this year’s MassChallenge UK accelerator, with a focus on supporting startups working in AI, robotics, and UAV technologies.
MassChallenge is a global network of startup accelerators, backing bold early-stage founders who are solving big problems. Our UK programme is non-profit and zero-equity, meaning it’s completely free and non-dilutive for startups — and powered by a brilliant community of partners, mentors, judges, and content contributors who generously share their expertise to help these ventures grow.
We’re building a cohort of startups tackling challenges in areas of AI, robotics and different types of autonomous vehicles.
If this is your space — and you’re interested in connecting early with ventures you might one day work with, advise, or invest in — we’d love to welcome you into the expert community for this programme. Feel free to message me directly and we can explore h…

Great opportunity for someone with migration experience!
I’ve worked with a couple of clients who built around Hubspot, and other than the usual SaaS frustration of certain features being locked up in tiers, it’s a good product.
I’m always curious how orgs come to decisions like this, to move from one tool to another, the decision criteria they use, the plans for mobilizing the data across the org, etc. So it was great to read the project background – very considera…

Thanks James Bebbington seems like a classic challenge especially with the migration, and the Xero and HubSpot connection and a problematic deployment of Salesforce. Sent you a message Rohan Sheth
