My name is Maria Barros. Although I studied languages and literature, I spent more than 20 years working in international business.
In 2022, I left my position as an international business manager to follow my real passion: languages and communication.
Now, I help businesses with:
– Translating marketing and legal documents
– Interpreting in business meetings.
– Creating materials for courses and training.
– Connecting foreign companies with the Portuguese market.

Hey all! Is anyone in the community experienced in growing an audience specifically for a podcast?
My podcast has nearly 100 quick-fire episodes on running a business as an unconventional founder. I have kept it going as a kind of passion-project over the years, but have never really had the time or the knowledge of how to grow the audience, so its going out to pretty tiny numbers.
The feedback I’ve had is great and I’m in a better position now to grow the audience and get it on front of more people. I’d love to chat to anyone knowledgeable in this area! Drop me a message if that sounds like you.

Anyone who has used landing pages to probe for market fit.
I’ve advertised two landing pages on linkedin and facebook (one each).
I’m just interested to know if I’m missing something or if I’m doing a reasonable job. Some advice would be very well received.

Morning everyone – I’m working with a small camera distributer who are looking to understand how to get a listing with a UK high street retailer such as Argos, John Lewis, Curry’s etc. Does anyone have or could recommend someone who could talk them through the process?
