Hi all,
My next Masterclass is coming up, this time it’s all about Burnout:
“5 Signs Your Team Is Heading for Burnout (But Still Hitting Targets)”. 6th of November, 5pm UK/BST.
A 30 minutes Masterclass, tailored to HR, L&D, and senior leaders (Directors, VPs, CxOs) and talent managers.
Why You Should Attend?
– Because your team looks like it’s thriving — but the energy feels brittle
– Because burnout doesn’t always show up as breakdown — sometimes it looks like overachievement
– Because you can’t afford to lose your top performers to silence, stress or slow resentment
– Because a high-performing culture should also be a healthy one
– Because leading well means knowing when to hit pause, not just push harder
Hope to see you there and let me know if you have any questions.

Great question, and thanks for triggering it.
What You’ll Learn:
1. The emotional cues leaders often miss when burnout is brewing
2. How “driven” can quietly become *drained* – and what to do about it
3. The myth of the unstoppable SLT (and how it’s costing your culture)
4. How to reset expectations without killing ambition
5. Tools to create sustainable drive – not burnout in disguise
It’s the quiet burnout – we don’t discuss what burno…

B2B SaaS Sales Enablement: Seeking Insights & Best Practices
Are you an experienced B2B SaaS sales leader, or ’Sales Enablement’ leader, e.g. Sales Strategy, Sales Ops, Sales Trainer?
We’re currently working with a global B2B SaaS FinTech company, that wants to seriously improve their sales enablement – org design, role design, induction, training, incentives, routines, collateral, CRM usage etc. Therefore, we’re keen to identify best practices and case studies that drive effectiveness and/ or efficiency in complex, long sales cycle B2B environments.
If you have recent experience working at or with B2B SaaS companies (or similar firms) that navigate long, complex sales cycles, Emelie Metscher and I would love to pick your brains.
If the client is intrigued by your insights, this may lead to paid consulting work.

Hey Ben Salter Legg,
I’ve worked as a sales person for 20+ years. I’ve seen good training, bad training, US training, UK training, complex deal training, large account training… I have about 6 major well known sales training certifications. Most of my clients have been in credit reference agencies, data companies and in utilities and public sector, so sales cycles are 6mths to 2 years on average, slow and complex.
I’ve sold B2B and partnerships for major FTSE50 compa…

Hi All,
I’ll be in NYC next Tue-Thu. Who will be around? I have created a Doodle poll to help us find a time that works for all – see below 👇
I am open to suggestions for location & format. The last one involved meeting at Hudson Yards, then walking down the High Line & Hudson River Park, with a beer at the end. If after work, we could do that again. If the beginning of the day, we could maybe end the walk in a cafe for a coffee and a bite of breakfast.
Please let me know which time slot(s) you can make, then we can plan something: https://doodle.com/group-poll/participate/er7n3Q6a
Best Wishes,
Ben

In this episode, Seth and Ryan discuss the critical topic of AI readiness in Go-To-Market strategies. They explore the importance of having a solid data foundation, the role of data dictionaries, and the need for data enrichment and standardization. The conversation delves into the realistic applications of AI, the challenges organizations face in automation, and the necessity of ownership in AI strategy. They emphasize the importance of consolidating knowledge bases and diagnosing problems before implementing AI solutions. The episode concludes with insights on the need for experienced leadership to guide AI adoption and the importance of refining existing strategies rather than starting from scratch.
TL;DR Takeaways

Calling all coaches – practice & feedback session this Thursday lunchtime!
When I first qualified as a coach, the best piece of advice I received was to “practice, practice, practice”. Now, as a coach trainer, I see the difference that watching other coaches in action, and gaining targeted feedback on your coaching can make to coaches’ development.
That’s why I’m launching some monthly Coaching Practice Pods – 90-minute sessions on Zoom, where coaches can:
Practice coaching in small groups.
* Experience and observe different coaching styles.
* Offer and receive useful feedback.
* Experiment and grow in a supportive space.
It’s pay-what-you-can, and you can register now for October, November or January (join regularly or dip in whenever it suits you).
Whether you’re a newly qualified coach looking to embed core skills, returning to coaching after a break, or looking to build confidence in a new approach, I’d love to see you the…
