Hi everyone 👋 I’m Estera — a finance transformation lead turned independent advisor, and founder of Which Way Financials.
I work with growing businesses and charities who want more from their finance function than just a tidy close or a monthly report.
My model blends recurring support (bookkeeping + financial insight) with project-based advisory for those who are scaling, fundraising, or navigating change.
I’ve worked across FP&A, systems, reporting, and R2R — but now I’m building a flexible practice that gives clients clarity and strategy, without the overhead.
I’m here to connect with others on the same path — especially those shifting from delivery into commercial influence. Let’s chat!

Nelly Ward posted in the group The Wine Group
Hello to all of you beautiful wine lovers!

I’m finally getting around to explore this wonderful platform. Great to see that you actually meet up in real life (which is the most important part for the wine part). Let me briefly introduce myself. I am a passionate soul who jumped off the corporate life of private banking and joined the wine trade. I’ve been organising private and corporate wine tastings for 3 years now and also launching my wine travel business. It would be great o get to know you all. If you are around on Tuesday, 24th of June, please join me for a Wine Roulette – a wine tasting in a totally fun format.
Here is the link for more details and tickets:

Angel Investing: Confusing or Exciting?
We’re planning a TPC webinar on Angel Investing, and we want to ensure it addresses your questions. Angel investing can be exciting, but also confusing.
We’d love to hear directly from our members who are angel investors, or have thought about it:
– What aspects of angel investing do you find most confusing or intimidating? (e.g., legal terms, SEIS/EIS, tax implications, risks?)
– Have you invested as an angel before? If yes, what motivated you to take the leap, and what was your experience like?
– If not, what held you back? Were there specific barriers, knowledge gaps, or concerns that stopped you?
Please share your thoughts, questions, and experiences in the comments below 👇

As a female founder and investor I’ve experienced angel investing from both sides of the table. Getting the relationship right is just as important as the money, creating value for all parties. As an investor you get to meet some really interesting founders and explore businesses and sectors beyond your usual scope. Financial returns will take a long time (if ever) but the learning, networking and growth opportunities are also super valuable. I’m happy to share my experience.

Happy to have a chat if I can be of help Ben Legg

Thanks for all of your input so far – it has really helped. We have now scheduled what should be an insightful webinar on Angel Investing, with Jonny Seaman, next Wednesday (2 July). Jonny recently left Seedlegals and has a lot of experience in this space.

Join us for a taster session next week, of a peer forum experience specifically for portfolio professionals, fractional consultants and solopreneurs. Going solo can be a very lonely endeavor, but it doesn’t have to be. Like our forum members, you might be part of some communities but experience that the engagement there can easily be shallow, fleeting and limited, leaving you wanting more. Like our forum members, seeking deeper engagement which is ongoing and more holistic, in a peer advis…
