Summary

A spinout from the University of Oxford in 2015, and now in its scale-up phase, Navenio closed its Series A round with a raft of international investors who share its overall vision for location-based technology. Now looking to bring on an experienced CTO to join the board as a Non-Executive Director, supporting the board and management team with technical insights & expertise.

About the company

Navenio Limited is a pioneering deep tech AI technology company, now helping to transform businesses around the world. Through our world-leading research and technology we create transformational indoor location-based services that solve the problem that GPS doesn’t work indoors for everybody, everywhere … and uniquely with no need for investment in infrastructure. Navenio’s location technology is developed from world-class University of Oxford science. In brief, using only a smartphone’s sensors, the fusion of four unique technologies creates a precise and highly scalable indoor location, providing actionable insight immediately. Privacy and security are inherent within the Navenio technology and the company is Cyber Essentials Plus certified, GDPR, HIPAA and NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit compliant.

The product

Navenio has used its break-through technology to create a market leading set of products and services as follows:

Navenio’s Intelligent Workforce Solution (IWS) unlocks significant improvements in the efficiency and workflow of healthcare staff and teams through automation that is carefully driven from real-world best practice using easy to deploy, accurate, scalable and robust indoor location-based solutions that work where GPS does not,

Navenio’s AI-led location-based solutions (ILS) help to transform workflow in businesses by enabling confirmation of people and asset movements, both past and present, to inform decision-making and facilitate location being integrated into existing apps & platforms.

The future

Having initially established ourselves with UK public sector healthcare, we are now focusing on US expansion through channel partners, including global Facilities Management Operators (FMO’s), Consultants and Systems Integrators. We already have won a contract with Cleveland Clinic in London and our first hospitals in the US via FMOs, and are in advanced discussions with a number of large and prestigious US healthcare hospital chains.

Navenio’s profile is growing rapidly, recently becoming part of UK Healthcare’s “First 100”, joining the prestigious TechNation Upscale programme, and winning a number of awards including “CTO of the Year” at the Women in IT Awards 2020 for our Academic Founder, Professor Niki Trigoni. Navenio was also a finalist in KPMG’s British Tech Pioneers Programme, was named as part of the DIT First 100 in Healthcare and Tech Nation’s Upscale 6.0, as well as winning both commercial and academic awards.

Ultimately, we see Navenio’s highly scalable and unique technology becoming the ubiquitous indoor location solution for all platforms, everywhere – regardless of the sector.
