  1. I sat in on Ben’s workshop last week, and do recommend it for anyone thinking about a portfolio career, or who is just curious to understand better what they are so they can help advise friends and family about future career approaches. I agree with his analysis that many more people will work this way in the future, and while there is no way he can set you up in an hour with all you need to know, he provides a very good overview of the process and the issues to consider and plan for. I’ve strongly recommended that my university-age son should also attend one of these online workshops!

  2. If you are starting a new work direction or just need to strengthen your business skills then this is so important. The catapult course gives you all you need in 8 key modules. There is no better time to be developing yourself and your business acumen. I highly recommend the Portfolio Collective course for it’s clear focus and all-round support provided by the multi-talented group of experienced advisors.

  3. This workshop is excellent. The advice and counselling from Ben and his team is invaluable. He really helps you to understand what your transferable skills are and how you can turn them into money. Hugely thought-provoking and enjoyable. The advice continues to resonate long beyond the 60 minutes. Well worth the money.

  4. I’ve done the workshop twice. Each time I get so much out of it. It’s completely inspirational. It’s really motivated me to find my portfolio career. The workshop shows that absolutely anyone can do this for themselves. I highly recommend it.

  5. This workshop gave me the confidence and information I needed to start thinking seriously about my portfolio career. It led me to the Catapult course and I haven’t looked back. I highly recommend the workshop and several of my friends have also benefited from it.

  6. I attended the portfolio careers workshop led by Ben yesterday and it was incredibly insightful, thought provoking and action oriented. The view to prepare people to build and sustain a living using their own talents and skills is not only a great way to encourage personal and financial independence but also crucial during the current difficult times as well as the inevitable trend of future mass unemployment with greater numbers of people competing for significantly fewer jobs. Ben not only describes why it is important to consider a portfolio career but actually translates his words into action by taking you through a proper action plan. This makes starting a portfolio career so much easier to grasp and consequently less daunting. I left very energised and excited!

  7. The workshop was very interesting. I’m a freelancer and the company I mostly work for we did projects for other people so I was indirectly working in a similar. But it was interesting and made me feel a little more confident about continuing working in this way and finding the work for myself while studying. The workshop made me think about how I could make it work in my industry and who would be interested and why.

  8. This is a well paced workshop that provides insights on the facets of portfolio careers one might not have considered as a first-timer. (such as tax issues, etc., that you might not be aware of in your previous life as a full-time employee).

What I liked the most about the session was practical and actionable advice given. Especially on how to define your value in the marketplace and price your services.

  9. I attended one of Ben’s early workshops and was blown away by Ben’s extensive and varied career experience, insightful advice into practical next steps and his infection passion for the concept of a portfolio career. I particularly valued the interactive nature of the workshop and the opportunity to ask questions and share thoughts with Ben and then other attendees. I’ve recommended Ben’s workshop to several friends and colleagues who have found it equally inspiring. Thanks!

  10. On gardening leave from what has become a large corporate, I wanted to get back to my more entrepreneurial roots, but had no idea where to start. This was like a gift. Ben laid out how everything I had been hoping for wasn’t just possible, but made absolute sense and also streamlined the process of moving into a freer, more flexible and modern work-life. He said that the future has come 5 years early(!), and this is absolutely the ideal portal to bring you up to speed.
