Developing a feedback culture
I am working with a tech startup who initially wanted a process for managers to give feedback to colleagues. This has evolved into developing a culture of giving and receiving regular feedback. The focus is on coaching managers to have effective feedback conversations and on developing this habit.
As a STEM Ambassador, I'm running a coding club for a local primary school. This is an opportunity to enthuse the children about STEM and creativity. It is also an opportunity for them to develop 21st Century skills such as collaboration, communication, critical thinking and problem solving.

I spent many years optimising the performance of exemplar sustainable buildings. I evolved from a technical to a more human focus, recognising that people play a huge role in sustainable building operations and performance. From this I developed a systems thinking mindset.
I accidentally became a coach by leading a team of consultants all with different expertise to myself. I couldn't tell them what to do, so I learnt to bring out the best in them. I formally trained as a coach in 2020 with Barefoot.
