About the company
For over 30 years, Youd Andrews has helped sales teams master one of the hardest skills in selling: navigating high-stakes conversations with senior executives.
Our experiential Business Simulator is like flight school for sellers—immersive, high-pressure sessions where participants pitch, respond, and adapt in real time with senior leaders playing CxO roles.
The role
We’re looking for a new wave of current or former CxOs to join Youd Andrews’ simulation faculty, diverse, experienced leaders who want to give back and help shape the next generation of enterprise sales talent.
As part of our network, you’ll step into the shoes of a CxO within a fictional case study organisation, bringing the role to life in simulated meetings, challenging thinking, coaching performance, and sharing feedback that genuinely moves the needle.
This isn’t a typical consultancy or board-level day rate engagement. It’s an opportunity to stretch your skills in a meaningful, high-impact way. Many of our current faculty say it’s some of the most stimulating and satisfying work they do.
If you’re curious to hear more, we’d love to start a conversation.
Key responsibilities
- Step into the role of a senior leader in a fictional case study organisation (e.g. CFO, COO, CIO), based on your own career experience
- Participate in simulated meetings, representing the CxO persona and responding authentically
- Challenge participants in real time—testing their preparation, thinking, and adaptability
- Offer insightful feedback post-meeting—verbally in a coaching style, and via structured metric reporting for participants and stakeholders
- Help benchmark performance and capture coaching points that accelerate capability
Must haves
- Experience operating at C-suite or executive leadership level within a complex, high-growth or large-scale organisation
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of engaging with senior stakeholders, clients, or board-level decision-making
- Confident, credible communicator with the presence to challenge and coach senior sales professionals
- Ability to draw on your own leadership experience to step into a realistic CxO role within a simulated business scenario
- Comfortable thinking on your feet and responding in real time during high-pressure discussions
- Passionate about supporting others’ growth, sharing insight, and contributing to a high-impact learning experience
Nice to have:
- Previous exposure to sales, commercial enablement, or leadership development programmes
- Experience in SaaS, tech, consulting, or other high-growth sectors
- A curiosity about people development and how executive presence can be built, not just born
- Experience as a Non-Executive Director, mentor, or coach as part of a portfolio career
Values
-
Generosity of Expertise Willing to share insights, experience, and perspective to help others grow.
-
Commercial Curiosity Intrigued by how businesses work, how deals are done, and how others think commercially.
- Agility in Ambiguity Comfortable responding in real time, adjusting to the unexpected, and thinking on your feet
-
Impact-Driven Motivated by making a real difference – not just turning up, but shaping thinking and outcomes.
- Commitment to Inclusion Values diverse perspectives and helps others feel seen, heard, and challenged in the right way.
