It was predicted that half of working adults would have multiple income streams by 2028. That number has already hit 48%. Portfolio careers aren’t new, but they’re accelerating faster than anticipated. 

Since 2020, millions have shifted from traditional employment, choosing the flexibility and higher earnings of portfolio work. But that opportunity has created new problems – a lack of belonging, less professional support and uncertainty around finding work – resulting in an isolated and disconnected workforce.

So we built a community. It started with 100 Founding Members getting to know each other through programmes and events. They collaborated, learned together, shared ideas and recommended us to everyone they knew, resulting in the passionate tribe of 13,000+ purpose-driven portfolio professionals that make up The Portfolio Collective (TPC) today.
