The Role
We are looking for a full time VP of Product. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the tech team, you will be responsible for combining our vision, a deep understanding of our customers and a great knowledge of the art of the possible into a cohesive and actionable product roadmap. Product at kleene.ai seeks to combine a modern SaaS user experience with a technical set of features designed to enable users to get value from their data.
Key role responsibilities
- Strategy. Contribute meaningfully to company strategy and prioritisation.
- Insight. Conduct user and market research to inform, prioritise and design new products and features.
- Product Roadmap. Design and implement the product roadmap to align with company strategy, from MVP to fully fledged product.
- Organisation. Ensure a rigorous outcome-focused organisation, with the right sprint and meeting routines to continuously deliver improved products and pivots when necessary.
- Collaboration. Closely work with tech and other functions in an agile setting to ensure clear structured work going into sprints
Essential skills
You are an insightful, passionate, confident planner and communicator, who knows that at a scaleup, the role often involves taking on responsibilities outside your remit. This role is best suited to someone who loves a deep technical ecosystem. SQL knowledge is a huge plus to dog food the application.
- Experience working in the startup and scaleup ecosystems
- Agile sprint management
- Ability to understand technical documentation
- Experience working with complex technical products and mapping
- A framework driven approach that seeks to map the various aspects of the product usability into dimensions which can be clearly assessed by stakeholders and teams
- A clear and structured thinker
- Understanding of how to create B2B SaaS software, with technical knowledge of how systems fit together
- A documentation first approach to creating requirements
- Great communication and stakeholder management skill
- Relentlessly focussed on minimising initial build time but who can evolve an MVP to a fully featured product.
Desirable skills
- An ability to create clear and modern UX focussed designs that form the basis of product build
- Experiencing having worked in the data ecosystem.
