Investment support
Supporting early stage companies as they seek growth funding. Helping top teams to develop a compelling story to attract the investors, and providing introductions to the right type of investors. When appropriate, providing sector expertise to investors to support the due diligence process.

New market entry
Support to businesses both in launching new products and entering new markets. Experience of selling new motorsport technology-derived products into new sectors in both the UK and US. Also led an initiative to deliver new cyber protection services for the car, rail, and energy sectors.

Leading the business to take it from the seed funding stage - defining the strategy and
operating plan, fund raising, and building the team to execute the plan to develop an international business to meet the needs of the EV circular economy

Commercial Director of Wirth Research, a motorsport/technology company
Leading the company’s diversification (strategy, business development and commercial functions) outside the motorsport arena. Developing new products for, and selling to, blue-chip companies
in sectors ranging from supermarkets, to logistics, defence and the built environment

MD of MUSC, a maritime security organisation
Leadership of the UK Marsec business, successfully leading a key business turnaround. Developing clear growth strategy for the business – ensuring clarity of accountability - aligning staff incentives and putting in place a marketing campaign to raise profile and differentiate the MUSC offering.

Operations Director at Hyperion Group, (now the Howden Group)
Leadership of centralised support functions - putting in place the operating framework to enable a 35% growth rate for a highly entrepreneurial private equity backed business. Also taking a lead role in the M&A function, assessing and valuing potential acquisition targets in the UK market

Programme Director at QinetiQ, a Defence & Security company
Managing key UK MOD accounts, with accountability for a portfolio of business worth £140 million, leading a large team as the business went from public to private ownership (via a Carlyle Group acquisition). Instilling a more proactive approach to business development.
